Medicare for City of New York Retirees

Plan Medicare will be running educational Medicare webinars to help educate and inform Medicare-eligible City of New York retirees about their healthcare options, with a focus on traditional Medicare and Supplemental plans. These free, educational virtual webinars will be held every Monday at 7pm ET, starting on May 1st and continuing through June 26th (with the exception of Memorial Day). Our primary goal is to help Medicare-eligible individuals understand the benefits of both traditional Medicare (Part A and B) and Medicare Supplement insurance so you can make informed decisions about your healthcare coverage. When can I enroll in a Medicare supplement plan? – Starting from June 1, 2023

For those who want traditional Medicare coverage and have opted out of  your Medicare Advantage plan, it’s important to note that you cannot enroll in a supplement plan until 90 days prior to the plan coverage start date.
