enroll, if you missed your Initial Enrollment Period last year? If you’re eligible for Medicare, you may still be able to sign up for Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance) and Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance) during the General Enrollment Period, but only if you act quickly.
The good news is, every year there is something called a General Enrollment Period, which runs from January 1st – March 31st, and gives individuals coverages starting on July 1st. Individuals can enroll during the General Enrollment Period for Medicare Part A & Medicare Part B if:
- You didn’t sign up when you were first eligible.
- You aren’t eligible for a Special Enrollment Period.
